Looking for a unique Disney experience — no park ticket required?
This ultimate Disney resort bar crawl combines stunning views, delicious cocktails, and iconic theming as you explore both Skyliner and Monorail resort lounges. Whether you’re planning a romantic evening, a friends’ night out, or a solo Disney adventure, this self-guided bar hop has all the magic (and mojitos) you need.
My wife and I have been doing the normal Disney park experience a few times a year, this time we decided to give our feet a break, take a day off from the parks and try out resort hopping. It was a blast! Check out our itinerary below along with some pictures to help tell the story.

- Disney’s Swan Hotel (starting point)
- Caribbean Beach Resort (Skyliner route)
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort (Monorail loop)
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
🏨 Starting Point: Disney’s Swan Hotel

The Disney Swan Hotel, located near EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, is the perfect launch pad for this crawl. From here, you’re just a 10–15 minute walk or boat ride away from Epcot — and the Skyliner Station.
🚶 Directions to First Stop:
- Walk or take a Friendship Boat to Epcot
- Board the Disney Skyliner to Caribbean Beach Resort

🏝️ Stop 1: Caribbean Beach Resort — Banana Cabana
Bar Name: Banana Cabana Pool Bar
Vibe: Island-inspired, casual, colorful
Must-Try Drink: Banana Cabana Signature Cocktail
Recommended Snack: Jerk Chicken Wings or Chili Queso Fries
Why Go:
Kick things off with Caribbean vibes and poolside relaxation. Banana Cabana is one of the most laid-back bars on property, with vibrant decor, steel drum background music, and drinks that pack a tropical punch.
🚍 Getting to the Monorail Resorts from Caribbean Beach
Instead of heading to EPCOT via Skyliner, take the faster, park-free route straight to the Monorail resorts.
🚌 Step-by-Step:
- From Caribbean Beach, head to the nearest Disney bus stop
- Catch a bus to Magic Kingdom
- At Magic Kingdom’s entrance, walk to the Monorail platform (outside the park)
- Hop on the Resort Monorail Loop — next stop: the Contemporary Resort!
✅ Pro Tip: This is the most time-efficient way to get from Skyliner resorts to the Monorail loop without entering a park.

🏙️ Stop 2: Contemporary Resort — Steakhouse 71 Lounge or Outer Rim
Bar Options:
- Steakhouse 71 Lounge: Sleek, mid-century modern with craft cocktails
- Outer Rim: Casual lounge with a view of Bay Lake and Monorail overhead
Must-Try Drink: Monorail Yellow or Cucumber Gimlet
Recommended Snack: Bacon & Eggs (appetizer from Steakhouse 71)
Why Go:
With its futuristic design and Monorail gliding through the lobby, the Contemporary is classic Disney. If you’re into minimalist vibes and craft drinks, Steakhouse 71 Lounge is a must-visit.
🌴 Stop 3: Polynesian Village Resort — Trader Sam’s or Tambu Lounge
Bar Options:
- Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto: Immersive tiki bar with interactive drinks
- Tambu Lounge: Relaxed, open-concept lounge with a tropical vibe
Must-Try Drink: Lapu Lapu (served in a pineapple) or Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum
Recommended Snack: ‘Ohana noodles or pork potstickers
Why Go:
This is a can’t-skip stop. Trader Sam’s is legendary for its theatrics, tropical drinks, and cult-favorite mugs. If there’s a wait, chill at Tambu Lounge and soak in the tiki aesthetic with a side of noodles.
🔥 Insider Tip: Ask the bartender for “off-menu” drinks at Trader Sam’s — there are a few surprises.

🌸 Stop 4: Grand Floridian — Enchanted Rose Lounge
Bar Name: Enchanted Rose Lounge
Vibe: Elegant, Beauty and the Beast-themed, romantic
Must-Try Drink: The French 75 or a Lavender Fog
Recommended Snack: Truffle Fries or Croquettes
Why Go:
Cap off your night in luxury at the Grand Floridian’s signature lounge. With a glowing rose chandelier, Belle-inspired decor, and plush seating, Enchanted Rose is pure Disney sophistication.

🏁 Getting Back to the Swan Hotel
Once your magical crawl is complete:
Option 1:

- Board a bus to Boardwalk Resort
- Then take the boat or walk back to the Swan Hotel
Option 2:
- Call a Minnie Van or rideshare from Grand Floridian to the Swan
🕐 Pro Tip: Plan transportation before midnight — Monorail and buses stop running shortly after Magic Kingdom closes.
